Tea Accessories that you must have

Tea Accessories are not just something that you need think of investing in for a formal tea party or a tea ceremony of the kind that the Japanese are so famous for. If you enjoy your tea and value the time you set aside for your favorite beverage, then you may also think of getting yourself a few Tea Accessories to enhance your experience.

Tea Mug/Cup:
A special tea cup or mug will make the experience of drinking tea that little bit more special because the cup or mug that you use might have significance because of the one who gave it to you or where you bought it, or simply because the shape or design or color gives you added pleasure.

Teapot or Kettle:
A charming teapot will offer you the option of having more than one cup at a time; if a friend drops in at the time you can simply offer them a hot cup. An old fashioned kettle can be an interesting antique item that you can use for brewing your tea which can be an interesting addition to your kitchen. Add a tea cosy, that quaint item to prevent your tea from getting cold in the pot if you want to have a leisurely couple of cups.

Tea Caddies or Trays:
If you enjoy making tea drinking an experience in itself, then a good quality tea caddy or tray is a good idea, which will take care of your creamer, the sugar pot, cups and tea pot etc. And for the special occasions when you may want to serve a special someone their morning tea in bed, the addition of a single rose or other flower may add just the right touch to an already pretty setting.

Creamer and Sugar Pot:
No longer do you have to have exactly coordinated tea pot and creamer and sugar pot. You can mix and match, achieve an interesting color palette using contrasting colors or solid colors with patterned items. It is what you enjoy looking at, what you find beautiful that is important, to enhance your special time with your tea.

Tea Canisters or Storage Boxes:
Air tight tea canisters will ensure that your tea stays fresh and protected from humidity and using an attractive tea container will also make a pretty addition to your kitchen or pantry. A tea chest or wooden box can store your unopened packages as well.

Tea Infusers / Presses:
If you enjoy the special experience of full leaf loose teas, then you will want to use a tea infuser or a tea press which can be made of steel wire or bamboo etc. and again adds to the whole tea preparation and drinking experience.
